Condolence: Hedy and Diane, so sorry to learn of your loss.
Through the years, I always admired my older Ashcraft cousin whom we fondly called "Freddy Donald"...I didn't know until a few years ago that he didn't appreciate being referred to as such and that others, especially outside the family, called him Fred. I regret not checking in with you from time to time during the 6 years I spent so much time helping care for Mom(Rinky)in her home 2006-2011.
I want you to know I appreciate the long career Fred, as he preferred to be called, had serving our country and our freedom as a navigator/pilot...and the sacrifices that you, as well, have made through the years as his wife and daughter who had to wing it on your own while he was away. Both of you are such lovely, beautiful ladies. I commend you for caring for him the last 5 years in your home.
Times like this bring so many good memories of Wallace, Ten Mile, Uncle Dewey and Aunt Thelma, and all the other Ashcraft clan. Oscar and I are praying for peace, comfort, and love for you and your family at this most difficult time.

Condolence: To the Belknap family,

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Fred. He was a friend of my fathers and it was on a few instances that we would stop at Freds home and speak to him. I am greatful to him for his military service as my father would have been. I began working for the Division of Highway several years after Mr. Belknap retired, and I am glad to say that our mutual friends here remember him fondly.
